VLESS REALITY: what it is and how the connection works

How VLESS and REALITY fit into one configuration, which parameters a client receives and why importing a complete profile is safer than editing fields manually.

VLESS and REALITY are often used together in compatible client configurations. VLESS describes the connection protocol, while REALITY is related to transport-level connection establishment and protection.

Users normally do not need to copy public keys, server names, fingerprints and other fields by hand. Importing a complete link or subscription is safer because the client receives a consistent set of parameters.

If even one REALITY parameter is incorrect, the connection may fail. Manual editing is therefore best reserved for users who understand what each field controls.

Subscriptions make updates easier. When server-side parameters change, the service can publish an updated profile and the user can refresh it in the client instead of configuring everything again.

VALNEXA provides VLESS/REALITY profiles to compatible clients as part of managed device access. Personal links and credentials should be treated as secrets and should not be shared publicly.
